MICHAEL CHINN  |  Principal, Creative Strategist + Designer

Michael Chinn is an accomplished creative professional and executive manager with over 15 years experience producing award winning brand identities, integrated multi-platform marketing and internal communications, advertising, and promotion for international media and entertainment, lifestyle, corporate, and not-for-profit markets.

An entrepreneur and a corporate executive, Michael is a motivational leader who has directed the efforts of multi-faceted creative and technical teams, as well as collaborative partnerships with global agencies, including Grey Advertising, McCann-Eriksson Worldwide, and Bozell Wilsenach Africa.

Providing support for such clients as NPR, CNN, ESPN, Easton Sports, National Geographic, Baltimore Museum of Art, CapitalOne, Habitat for Humanity, Hearst Radio/98 Rock, NASA, T. Rowe Price, and WorldSpace Satellite Radio, has garnered him international recognition. Michael’s work has been showcased in numerous industry publications and books.

In addition to his professional career as a brand consultant, Michael had been an integral part of the creative staffs of WorldSpace Satellite Radio, Discovery Communications, US Interactive and MCI Telecommunications. The extensive breadth of these organizations has fostered his global perspective and expertise in designing for multicultural and multilingual audiences.

Michael was honored in 2007 to be selected by digital media pioneer Peggy Miles to serve on the Digital Media Executive Advisory Board. Due to his concern and involvement with environment and humanitarian issues, he is cofounder of Canopy Ethiopia [501c3], a reforestation and alternative energy initiative, where he additionally serves on the Board of Directors.

When not seeking new design and technology trends, he can be found watching MLS or Premier League Football, cooking out, exploring new wines, reading, or indulging his fine art side. He currently resides in the Washington, DC suburb of Columbia, MD with his son Christopher, and Jack Russell terrier, Leo.

Teresa Leisen Sellinger covers the nexus of creative and account management as does no one else. Twenty+ years of marketing experience brings seasoned leadership in product and service branding; and conception, development and execution of award-winning, 360-degree, creative marketing solutions. Award-winning copywriting experience, script development and video styling experience complete her ability to tackle any marketing challenge.

Teresa Leisen Sellinger played a key role in development and growth of the ground-breaking Brand Buzz/Y&R business group (an integrated team of cross-discipline specialists within the Y&R family employing a fundamentally different model) tackling non-traditional marketing campaigns with a discipline-neutral approach reaching outside of, or in addition to, traditional advertising avenues. She contributed to the growth of  Brand Buzz business, surpassing corporate revenue goals 50% in Y2, on target to 1000% growth in Y5, operating at 18.35% margin.

She has a proven record ideating, strategizing, negotiating and executing cross-category, powerful partnership programs maximizing client financial outlay and program impact.

Partners include NASCAR, Blockbuster, HBO, May Co., Colavita, New York City Restaurant Group, GenArt, Wildlife Conservation Society, Bruce Lemler Photography. etc. Teresa Leisen Sellinger currently resides in New Jersey with her three children, bringing them into Manhattan at every available opportunity.
