Event planning and exhibit conference management – Did you know we can do that too?
Here at MCC, we’re always looking for more we can do for our customers. In service of that, we have recently added staff that has extensive background and experience with event planning and conference and exhibit management. From taking calls from exhibit participants to dealing with vendors, negotiating and writing request for proposals and responding to all inquiries with regards to setting up and planning your event.
What makes the difference between a good event planner and a great event planner? An event planner has to wear many hats. Getting into the details is important, like making sure the right locating is scouted, negotiating with hotels for the best meeting space and a block of rooms, to dealing with the logistics of making sure packages are delivered on time and to the right place, audio/visual components work correctly, booths are designed effectively to managing an RFP process to get quotes from vendors and hotels alike to maximize client’s budgets. A good event planner has to have a strong network and be a people person. A great event planner is someone everyone speaks about having “loved” to work with.
